What to Expect at Your First Appointment
No matter which of our hearing centers you visit us at, you will always be greeted by a happy face.
- We begin every appointment with a conversation to get to know you. We will ask you some questions to better understand your medical and family history.
- Then we will perform an ear exam by looking at the inside of your ear canal and at your eardrum. If you have a blockage of earwax that is impacting your hearing, we can remove that.
- After we’ve ensured your ears are clear then we will begin the hearing test. This will assess how well you can hear sounds and understand speech in noise and quiet.
- We will go over the results of your hearing test (audiogram) with you and answer any questions you may have.
Preferred Provider of the NFL Players Association
Delta Hearing is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association’s Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collected data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
